The Limonium fall and rise,
Just like the current and the tide,
Each night their buds fall softly asleep,
Just as the beach falls under the sea's sweep,
The moonlight glints off their petals,
Just as the sea is about to settle,
The morning dawns upon the flower,
Just as the sea regains it's power,
The flower's glow has been stolen by the night,
But the sea has not lost its bite,
The flower drifts away, it is no more,
The sea keeps it encaged down on the floor.
