Five Goodnight Sleep tips.

Updated: May 26, 2019

Hey girls! So today I am going to share some tips that I use to relax and unwind to get a goodnight sleep especially after going back to school these tips have proven useful and I thought I would share them with you, so here it is my five goodnight sleep tips.

Tip #1 Have a Bath

For me having a hot bath an hour before bed helps me to de-stress and really get into the relaxing mood and it also gives me the chance to use one of my fave lush bath bombs.

Tip #2 Get into your comfiest pyjamas

Wearing cosy pyjamas really helps me to fall asleep faster because i'm chilled and ready to unwind. It really gets me in the mind set and also makes sure i am not too hot or too cold.

Tip #3 Make sure your bedroom is at an optimum temperature for sleep

Your bedroom should be at around 20 degrees for the best night sleep because a hot room will cause agitation but a cold room will make it difficult to fall asleep. Your bedroom should also be free from noise and light to improve sleep quality.

Tip #4 Try using lavender

Lavender infused products help to reduce stress and has calming and soothing properties. I use a lavender infused moisturiser because it helps me sleep and is also great for my skin.

Tip #5 Don't use technology before bed

Blue light can effect the melatonin hormone in your body so not using technology an hour before bed can really help your sleep quality so instead I read a book for half and hour because it is a perfect opportunity to not get disturbed and also makes me really tired.

So there are my tips for a goodnight sleep, hope you girls found them useful.
